Life is composed of cells, which are separated by various biofilms to form multiple micro/nano-confined spaces. In these micro/nano-confined spaces, nucleic acids, proteins, small molecules and other biological molecules participate in cell regulation, signal transduction, biosynthesis and other functions. Xia has conducted long-term and systematic exploration and accumulation around how the "probe molecule" enters the micro/nano-confined space and interacts with the "target molecule" such as nucleic acid, protein and small molecule in the micro/nano-confined space, which is helpful to understand the operating mechanism of life and realize the early screening of major diseases. Up to now, Xia has published over 340 scientific papers, which were cited by about 15000 times. H-factor is 62.
